Call 3-1-1 to find available Warming Centers in your area and operating hours. Most are open only during the day; check for evening and night locations. Ask about Transportation assistance, too, if needed.
The Homeless Connection Hotline is 210-207-1799. Advocates said callers can report individuals in need, and outreach teams will assess the situation and provide transportation when possible.
Ask A Neighbor for help moving pots, covering plants, wrapping pipes, or making feral cat (or other animal) shelters. If you need help connecting, then please reach out to us at altavistasustainabilitygroup@gmail.com or call our Help Line at 210-446-8027.
Community Connectors, please reach out to those on your block that may need assistance and may not be online and getting this info. Print and block walk if you can, or share our contact info! Also, please consider making a donation drop of food for those that may have a hard time getting out in this weather. The Midtown Meetup Food Pantry is available when doors open at 3pm M-F and 12pm Sa/Sun.
